Description: Aeonium volkerii is an interesting species found exclusively on the northern tips of the Island Tenerife. Plants are shrub forming which branch freely developing lot of offsets with beautiful deep red leaf margins.
Plant Care: Extremely tough. Plant in full sun to bring out the best colours and form.
Origins: Canary Islands (Tenerife)
Comments: For a long time this species has been confused with and misidentified as Aeonium haworthii. Only now is Aeonium volkerii being correctly represented.
A. haworthii is very different, holding very thick succulent leaves which are generally a greyish bloom in colour.
You will see from the photo's that they are very different.
