Description: Developing massive rosettes to well over 40 cm in diameter, this enormous species will surely impress! Plants will growing to around 2m tall and remain either a single rosette or develop the odd offset. This is not an easy one to propagate from cuttings, so we only ever have very limited numbers available.
Plant Care: This is a very tough species and will handle full sun very well. Grow plants in a very well drained mix and in a sunny location to bring out the best colours. Plants will do well in pots, but they are best grown in the ground to really show their true size and potential.
Origins: Canary Islands - (Tenerife)
Comments: There is two varieties of this species, one occurring north of the island Aeonium urbicum var. urbicum and the other south of the island Aeonium urbicum var. meridionale.
