Description: A small upright growing Aeonium to 20 x 20cm, with soft pubescent foliage.
Plant Care: An easy and fun Aeonium to grow. Plants can often become a little open and leggy, but a light prune over winter will help the plants bush up and form a compact shape.
Origins & Distribution: Aeonium x anagense is a naturally occurring hybrid between the species Aeonium lindleyi var. lindleyi and Aeonium tabuliforme and can be found growing naturally on the Island Tenerife within the Canary Islands archipelago.
Comments: It has long been speculated that 'Pancakes', is actually the naturally occurring hybrid Aeonium x anagense (Aeonium lindleyi var. lindleyi x Aeonium tabuliforme).
We have recreated this hybrid at our nursery (Aeonium lindleyi var. lindleyi x Aeonium tabuliforme) and can confirm that the cultivar 'Pancakes' is the same.
