Description: Aeonium nobile is a majestic and stand alone species. Plant are low growing but robust and large in stature, forming a single rosette of thick fleshy leaves which are the thickest of all the Aeonium species. The rosettes will display stunning tones of copper, orange and bronze, which will change with the seasons and with the amount of sun the plants receive. This is a must have for the collector.
Plant Care: Aeonium nobile is a tough species but requires excellent drainage. Like most Aeoniums avoid exposure to the very hot afternoon summer sun, but grow in good light to bring out the best colours. This one does not need a lot of water so keep plants on the dry side.
Origins & Distribution: Canary Islands (La Palma)
Comments: Unless grown under cover this species is often prone to leaf marking. It is often unavoidable and will grow out with the new leaf growth and does not affect the plants health.
