Description: This is the beautiful variegated form of Aeonium 'Marnier Lapostolle'.
With all the very similar looking red variegated Aeoniums now available, it is refreshing to see this vibrant mix of cream, pink and green colours and is a very welcomed addition to our collection. Not only are the colours a standout, the form 'Marnier Lapostolle' develops is also quite unique.
The foliage is a shaded mix of greens surrounded by a creamy white outer portion with a deep pink leaf margin. Throughout the summer months and as the plant matures, the leaf margins intensify in colour becoming a fluorescent hot pink!
As with 'Marnier Lapostolle' the plants retain the characteristic deep purple streak down the centre of each leaf, which compliments the whole plant perfectly adding to its beauty and grace.
We find this one to be quite slow growing and not as vigorous as the non variegated 'Marnier Lapostolle'. The plants will still offset profusely though forming numerous side branches.
Plant Care: Although 'Marnier Lapostolle' itself can cope quite well in full sun, we think the variegated form is best suited to growing in very good light but without any very hot direct sunshine. Alternately if grown in too much shade, the plants may not develop the vibrant pink and purple colours.
