Description: 'Kilimanjaro' is an impressive new variegate and will no doubt quickly become a favourite amongst collectors.
The colours are simply fantastic showing deep shades of red, crimson and black, which is perfectly balanced by a vivid splash of toffee apple green in the centre of the rosette. This colour combination works so well together and will certainly stand out within your collection!
Plant Care: Plants are easy to grow, forming a nice structure which branch freely. Grow in good light the achieve the best colours. Throughout summer, particularly if grown in a very hot and sunny location, the variegation can often become less obvious. Once conditions cool or plants are move to a less exposed location, the beautiful colours reappear.
Origins: 'Kilimanjaro' is said to have originated as a sport from Aeonium 'Medusa'.
Comments: Sharing similar dark colours to 'Medusa', 'Kilimanjaro' develops a darker outer portions of the leaf surface with a lighter centre, whilst 'Medusa shows the opposite traits by having a dark centre and lighter outer margins.
We suspect this is also the same as what is sold as 'Huana' & 'Udali King'.
