Description: Aeonium goochiae is an interesting little Aeonium found in the northern part of La Palma. Its appearance is quite different to most other Aeonium species, by resembling the form and characteristics of an Aichryson, rather than an Aeonium.
Only a small species, plants will form densely branched shrublets to around 30 x 30cm. The foliage is a lovely moss green colour and is extremely sticky to touch.
Typically found growing as an understory species, a partial shaded environment is preferred otherwise the soft foliage may burn.
Plant Care: Best grown in a partial shaded location to avoid burning the foliage. Plants will often collect dirt and debris due to the stickiness of the leaves but can easily be cleaned with a good spray of water.
Origins & Distribution: Canary Islands (Northern La Palma)
