Description: Aeonium escobarii is simply stunning! This is a impressive species developing a large single head to 40cm wide and growing to 50cm in height. Rosettes colours will vary from a vibrant green to a beautiful glaucous blue and develop strong pink coloured leaf margins. The rosette colours will transitions with the seasons and with the amount of sun the plants receive. The best colours will usually develop in Spring and early Summer as they plants head into dormancy.
Plant Care: This is a very tough species and will handle full sun very well. Grow plants in a very well drained mix and in a sunny location to bring out the best colours. Plants will do well in pots, but are best grown in the ground to really show their true size and potential.
Origins & Distribution: Canary Islands (from a small area north-eastern, La Palma)
Comments: This is a non-branching species and will only form a single head on a single stem.
