Description: Aeonium ciliatum is a robust growing species reaching around 1m in height. Plants developed an interesting candelabra shape, having a dominant main rosette surrounded by lower growing smaller side branches. The main rosette will reach approximately 15-25cm in diameter, with the side rosettes growing much smaller to around 10cm wide. Over summer the leaf edges will often develop a vibrant red colour and the stems and branches showing prominent characteristic leaf scars (a mark left on the stem where the old leaves where attached).
Plant Care: Easy to grow and look after. This beauty makes a stunning garden or potted specimen due to its unique growth habit. If a smaller more compact plant is desired, try growing in a small decorative pot where the vigor and growth can be restricted.
Origins & Distribution: Canary Islands (Tenerife)
