Description: It’s the stunning toffee apple colours of red and green which makes 'Chanel' such a spectacular variegate! The reds colours in particular are strikingly vibrant and contrast perfectly with the inner green sections of the leaves.
Additionally, when actively growing luminous bursts of white and cream develop within the inner foliage and within the newly forming rosettes.
With strong sun exposure the vibrant colours of red and green darken considerably, turning deep shades of maroon and purple.
Although its remarkably beautiful in all seasons, we think it truly peaks in Spring & Autumn with the warm days but cool nights, where the red and green colours seemingly burst with life!
Plant Care: Easy to grow and look after. Plants are upright and strong growing, forming multiple side branches. Grow in strong indirect light to bring out the best colours.
Origins: Believed to be a variegated form of Aeonium 'Cornish Rose' which is a hybrid from the United Kingdom.
Comments: Also sold as Aeonium ‘Cornish Rose’ Variegated.
There is also a very similar looking cultivar sold as ‘Lina’. We highly suspect they are the same or perhaps 'Lina' is a slight variant of ‘Chanel’, but at the moment we cannot distinguish any distinct differences between the two.
