Description: Boasting large multi-coloured rosettes of green, white, pink and red, it's the beautiful shades of pink which makes 'Canary' really stand out and draw your attention.

We love the huge variation of pink colours this one develops! As the plants transitions throughout the seasons you will see a stunning display of various shades of pink, from light floral shades of carnation & rose in the winter months, to deeper shades of magenta & burgundy over the hotter summer period.

The more direct sunlight this one receives the darker the colours will get and the rosettes may darken considerably when grown very hard and over the summer period. We feel this one is best grown in very good light, but not grown to hard as to bring out the showy pink colours.

The rosettes can get huge and will easily grow to 20cm across. Plants are quick growing and will form a lovely multi -branched cluster.

Plant Care: Easy to grow and look after. Over exposure to the hot summer sun will darken the plant colours considerable for the short term. If you wish to retain more of the pinky colours throughout the summer months, we recommend growing in a filtered light position.

Origins: Canary is believed to be a mutation of Aeonium 'Medusa'.

Comments: There is a similar looking cultivar named 'Wedding Dress' (also known as 'Ballet')', which is also a variant of Aeonium 'Medusa'. 'Wedding Dress' differs to 'Canary' by having a very distinct mottled white and green variegation in the central parts of the leaves. Although they have a similar form, they are all very different and equally beautiful.
