Description: 'Blushing Beauty' is a medium sized growing Aeonium with soft pubescent foliage which gives the leaves a slight velvety texture. 'Blushing Beauty' can often be fairly green in colour for the majority of the year, only showing the tendency to "Blush" colours of red and purple as a young plant and towards the end and start of winter, rather then during the summer dormancy period. Growing to around 50cm, plants form a nice compact shape and make a fantastic potted specimen.

Plant Care: 'Blushing Beauty' grows well both in the ground and in pots and is generally care free. As plants mature, they tend to become greener overall and need to be grown really hard to bring out the best colours.

Origins: A hybrid created by Jack Catlin in USA. Aeonium canariense x Aeonium 'Zwartkop'

Comments: 'Blushing Beauty' is a sibling hybrid to Aeonium 'Velour' and can look very similar at certain times of the year. 'Blushing Beauty' is generally a lot greener than 'Velour' and tends to be a little smaller growing with a more compact shape.
