Description: This is a tall and strong growing species with large open rosettes to around 25cm in diameter. Generally green over the winter months, plants will then turning a spectacular array of bronze, red and purple colours over the summer period. The harder this species is grown, the better colours you will get!
Plant Care: This is a tough species and must be grown in full sun to achieve the best summer colours.
Origins & Distribution: Canary Islands (El Hierro, Tenerife, La Gomera & La Palma)
Comments: Occurring on four of the islands within the Canary Island archipelago, there will no doubt be a small degree of variability depending on the location found.
